Payroll Specialist(construction)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a construction company in Chandler. This organization is in search of a payroll specialist to join their team. This role is fully in office Monday-Friday 7am-330pm. The ideal candidate will have multi state payroll processing and prevailing wage experience. The salary range is between $55,000-$65,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process multi-state payroll for employees across various projects and locations.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and timely distribution of wages, deductions, and benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Familiarity with prevailing wage requirements and adherence to federal and state regulations.
  • Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred
  • At least 3+ years experience in multi-state payroll processing, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of prevailing wage laws and compliance.
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems; experience with UKG is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
