LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in the East Valley. This company is in search of an purchasing administrative assistant to primarily handle international and domestic orders and order fulfillment, purchase orders, handling the logistics of events and trade shows, as well as vendor relations and invoicing.
This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and place purchase orders for machinery, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Develop and maintain costing sheets for products, analyzing data to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate ocean freight shipments, including booking containers, managing documentation, and tracking shipments for on-time delivery.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to align on purchasing priorities and requirements.
- Manage outbound shipment processes for both domestic and international orders, coordinating with logistics partners for timely delivery.
- Prepare and manage commercial invoices for international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and accurate billing.
- Monitor warehouse inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- High level administrative support experience preferred!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics processes preferred.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
