LHH is partnering with a prestigious law firm who is looking for their next Real Estate Attorney in Charlestown, SC!

Job Duties

• Draft and review real estate development documents, including covenants, condominium declarations, and easements.

• Provide legal support for a variety of development projects such as hotels, condominiums, resorts, golf courses, timeshares, mixed-use developments, and residential communities.

• Advise on and structure real estate transactions in compliance with South Carolina laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure legal accuracy and project alignment.

• Participate in office-based meetings a few days per week if located in Charleston, or travel to Charleston occasionally if remote.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in South Carolina

• Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing real estate law, with a strong focus on development.

• Demonstrated experience with South Carolina real estate development projects.

• Proficiency in drafting complex real estate documents and navigating regulatory frameworks.

• Ability to work independently with flexibility in weekly hours based on project needs.

Job Details

• Remote, ability to come in office if needed is an added bonus!

• Mon - Fri : 20 - 40 hours a week

• Contract: 6 months with potential for extended time

• Pay: $60 - $80 per hour
