LHH is assisting a client in South Charlotte with their need for a Accounts Receivable/Billing Manager. This is a direct hire opportuntiy offering the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week. This position will be overseeing a small team and will require prior management experience. This organization is in the manufacturing and distribution industry; non-medical AR experience is required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of 4-6 billers

• Providing training, mentoring and direction to subordinates

• Reporting on aging

• Creating and implementing efficiencies within in the AR department

• Working closely with collections team to support receivables’ efforts

• Resolving discrepancies and handling escalated issues

• Manage and maintain strict deadlines

• Month and year end close processes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years non-medical billing experience

• Minimum of 2 years managing or supervising a team within billing

• 4-year degree required; BS in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred

• Strong technological proficiency, MS Excel knowledge as well as experience working in an automated environment

• Portal billing experience required
