LHH is assisting in South Charlotte with their need for a Cash Applications Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing and recording incoming payments, ensuring timely application to customer accounts, and maintaining reconciliation and accuracy in financial records. This is a direct hire opportunity. This position is hybrid; onsite 3 days a week.
Job Responsibilities:
Process and record daily cash receipts, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
Apply payments to customer accounts accurately and promptly.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to ensure timely account reconciliations.
Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in cash applications or accounts receivable required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Tech savviness and prior experience working in an ERP system
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
