LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced CDL A Low Boy Driver for a well-established construction operation in Charlotte, NC. This is a great opportunity for a dependable driver who enjoys operating heavy equipment and being home every evening.

Position Overview:

The Low Boy Transport Driver is responsible for safely transporting heavy construction equipment and machinery to and from job sites. This role includes operation of a lowboy trailer, crane truck (training provided), and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition while delivering top-tier customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport heavy machinery and equipment to and from job sites using a lowboy trailer

• Operate a crane truck (training and cross-training provided)

• Load and unload heavy machinery securely and safely

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance

• Maintain accurate logs and vehicle records

• Represent the company with professionalism and strong customer service

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

• Current DOT medical card

• Experience loading/unloading heavy machinery

• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues

• Familiarity with equipment and safety manuals

• Pre-employment physical fitness and drug/alcohol testing required

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of driving experience preferred

• Willingness to learn and operate a crane truck

Schedule & Route:

• Local routes only — home daily

• Full-time hours, consistent schedule

Compensation & Benefits:

• $50,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
