Administrative Assistant
Customer Service & Support
LHH is looking for a Construction Administrative Assistant for a direct hire position in South Charlotte! The ideal candidate has 3+ years of administrative experience within the construction industry and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position is fully onsite Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed project files, including project specifications, blueprints, and contract documents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
Prepare cost estimates for potential construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers to develop competitive quotes.
Source and purchase construction materials from various suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material delivery to job sites.
Maintain project schedules and track progress against established timelines.
Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met,
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors' work on various projects.
Ensure subcontractors adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
Prepare and submit permit applications as required by local authorities.
Liaise with permitting agencies to secure necessary approvals.
Assist with general office administrative tasks, such as answering phones, managing emails, and filing documents.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a construction administrative role or a related field.
Familiarity with construction project management software is an advantage.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
Procore software experience is a plus
Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
