LHH is seeking a Construction Bid Coordinator for a contract to hire role in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate has 2+ years' experience in bid coordination and administration within construction. This position is fully in office Monday - Friday.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the estimating team to gather necessary information and documents for bid submissions, including reviewing project specifications and drawings.
Prepare and organize bid documentation accurately, including bid packages and subcontractor quotes, while maintaining electronic records.
Identify and prequalify subcontractors and suppliers for projects, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate timely bid submissions to clients, completing all required paperwork and following procedures and deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of bid submissions, including results and feedback, and track project opportunities through various platforms.
Act as the primary point of contact for bid-related inquiries, facilitating communication between internal teams and external partners.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve the bid process for increased efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in bid coordination within the construction industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
