LHH is seeking a strong Attorney for a contract role in the Charlotte market. The Contract Attorney is responsible for providing legal counsel, representing clients in legal proceedings, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and advising clients or internal stakeholders on legal rights and obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies.

  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.

  • Advise clients on business transactions, liability, and legal rights.

  • Negotiate settlements and manage litigation processes.

  • Collaborate with internal departments or external clients to ensure legal compliance.

  • Stay current on legal developments and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina.

  • 2–5+ years of legal experience, depending on the role.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases or projects simultaneously.



Pay Details: $55.00 to $70.00 per hour
