LHH is assisting a client in Charlotte, NC with their need for a Fund Accountant. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring fully onsite training. This is a direct hire position offering highly competitive benefits!
Responsibilities
Keep accurate records of all financial transactions. Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and investment accounts.
Process and record all transactions, including purchases, sales, dividends, and interest.
Calculate and report NAV (net asset value) of funds regularly (daily, weekly, or monthly).
Prepare financial statements and reports following accounting standards and regulations.
Assist external auditors during annual audits. Provide necessary documentation and responses.
Ensure fund activities meet regulatory requirements. Stay updated with changes in regulations and accounting standards.
Monitor and manage fund cash flow. Ensure enough liquidity for operations and investor redemptions.
Answer investor inquiries and provide information about fund performance and accounting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CFA certifications are a plus.
1-3 years of fund accounting experience, preferably in investment management or financial services.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
