HR Benefits Specialist - Remote

LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking an experienced HR Benefits Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with a client located in the Charlotte, NC area. You must live in or near Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience managing FSA/HAS plans, COBRA, and QLE. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, and voluntary benefits.
  • Guide new employees through benefits enrollment, explaining options, eligibility, and deadlines.
  • Analyze data related to employee benefits utilization, costs, and satisfaction levels. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement, making recommendations to enhance the overall value and effectiveness of our benefits offerings.
  • Serve as a resource for employees seeking assistance with benefits-related inquiries, issues, or claims. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as payroll and finance teams, to resolve any administrative challenges promptly.
Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on self-insured health plans.
  • HRIS experience within ADP software
  • Proficiency in Excel, including skills in data analysis, formula creation, and spreadsheet management. Demonstrated ability to utilize pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions to manipulate and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 Depending on the specific client, location, and role benefit may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
