LHH is seeking an HR Generalist for a contract position with a company in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate has 3+ years HR experience in employee relations, benefits, recruitment, and onboarding within the manufacturing industry. This role is moving quickly, so please apply if interested! This position is fully in office in Charlotte Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
Onboard new employees and facilitate new hire orientations and safety trainings
Assist in recruiting efforts including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and interviewing candidates
Maintain employee files in HRIS
Compile data from HRIS and prepare reports
Assist employees with benefits administration
Handle employee relations investigations
Track FMLA, STD, LTD, and ADA administration
Handle government reporting such as OSHA
Coordinate employee events and recognition
Assist with compensation changes and payroll processing requests
Qualifications:
3+ years of HR experience
Proficient use of Microsoft Office
HRIS experience
Understanding of Federal, State and Local employment laws
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
