$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per Year


LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking a HR Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a client in the Distribution industry. This role is based in the Charlotte, NC area. The ideal candidate will come from a similar industry background with strong competencies in recruiting onboarding, payroll processing, benefits, and employee relations.


Responsibilities:



  • Administer human resources plans and policies, including creating and maintaining the employee handbook and procedures manual, and ensure compliance with federal and state HR requirements.


  • Oversee payroll processing, including handling sales commissions, bonuses, 401K funding, benefits deductions, and related reporting, while ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.


  • Manage employee records, including personnel files, benefits, drug test results, child support, garnishments, PTO, and attendance; ensure efficient handling of new and terminated employee processes.


  • Act as a liaison between HR department and all other departments, handle HR reporting, employee relations, benefits administration, and affirmative action programs.


  • Participate in setting department goals and objectives, monitor and revise performance evaluation programs, and recommend new approaches to improve department efficiency and employee retention.


Experience and Skills:



  • Bachelor’s Degree, HR certification preferred and or equivalent experience.


  • Strong knowledge of principles and practices pertaining to personnel administration, payroll, and DOT Compliance.


  • HRIS experience required, UKG preferred


  • Strong reporting skills within Excel required


Compensation: $70k - $80k + bonus


Depending on the specific client, location, and role benefit may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
