LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a company in Chicago with a search for an accountant. This role is onsite and direct hire. The company is ideally looking for someone with a Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar and a few years of experience. This is a great role for someone who can manage their own deadlines and be proactive.

Responsibilities:

• Account reconciliations

• Audit support

• Assist with month end close

• Yearly 1099 process

• Back up to the accounts payable team

• Month end reports and analysis

• Discrepancy resolution

Required:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role with reconciliations and analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or similar

• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication

• Deadline driven and self motivated

• Analytical skills

Salary: $65-$70K
