LHH has partnered with a company in Chicago to assist with a search for an accounting specialist. The accounting specialist will handle both accounts payable and receivable. This is a temporary to hire opportunity role located at the worksite.

• Review billing, resolve errors and rebill

• Update customer and vendor accounts and set up new accounts

• Customer account analysis, discrepancy resolution and collections follow up

• Apply payments to accounts

• Process accounts payable coding, approvals and purchase orders

• Reconcile vendor statements, credit cards and bank accounts

• Ensure timely payments to vendors

• Assist with month end close for AP and AR

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in AP and AR

• Prior experience with Excel and ERP systems

• Must be analytical and deadline driven

• Ability to handle multiple tasks

Additional information:

Pay: $26-$32/hour
