About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our finance operations. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who thrives in a fast-paced logistics or transportation environment. You’ll manage full scope support of accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform reconciliations, and communicating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify electronic vendor invoices

• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and coordinate with branch teams

• Execute weekly check and disbursements

• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries promptly

• Generate and distribute customer invoices

• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments

• Apply payments accurately and address customer billing questions

• Reconcile AP/AR with the general ledger

• Ensure accurate freight revenue and expense tracking (tariffs, duties, transport costs)

• Collaborate with operations to resolve freight charge discrepancies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Industry experience in logistics, freight forwarding, trucking, or transportation is highly preferred—but we’re open to training the right candidate

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
