LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a company in Chicago with a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The AP Specialist will be responsible for processing timely payments to vendors ensuring accuracy as well as assisting with the month end close. This role is onsite and temporary to hire.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming invoices for payment

• Code, match purchase orders and obtain approvals

• Discrepancy resolution

• Maintain payment schedules and discounts

• Reconcile payments and vendor statements

• Accruals for month end

• Review vendor accounts for updates

• Submit payment history reports

• Communicate with vendors regarding payments

Required:

• 2 years of prior AP experience

• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel

• Deadline driven

• Ability to maintain speed and accruacy

Pay: $25-$29/hour
