Our client is looking for an individual for an Accounts Payable Support position based in Chicago. You must have at least one year of administrative experience, preferably in a law firm setting. This position involves invoice processing, payment posting, and maintaining financial records. Location: Chicago, IL
Position Type: Hybrid (2 days onsite)
Rate: $20-$22/hr.
Worksite Type: Hybrid
Position Type: Temp (1–2-month contract)
Job Responsibilities:
Post invoice/wire detail in accounting system
Support the review, verification, and processing of outstanding invoices for payment
Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
Monitor expenses to ensure they are within budget and properly recorded
Resolve invoice discrepancies and outstanding issues
Work with internal and external auditors
Ensure all payments are processed in compliance with company policies and
relevant regulations
Organize and file financial documents and email correspondence, updating spreadsheets, and maintaining account records
Process and Check Requests
Answer all vendor inquiries
Requirements:
Minimum one-year administrative experience required
Legal industry experience is highly preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Good customer service ability
Strong interpersonal skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently
