Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to join our client’s team. In this role, you will provide a wide range of administrative and support services to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel itineraries.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, screen and route incoming correspondence.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees.
  • Prepare presentations and other materials as needed.
  • Greet and welcome visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist with the coordination of office events and meetings, including catering and room setup.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
  • Provide support to employees and visitors as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, fax machines).
  • Prior experience in an administrative or hospitality role is a plus.

Job Details:
  • Contract to Hire
  • Monday- Friday, onsite
  • Pay $24-$29 an hour depending on experience
