About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Benefits Manager to oversee and administer our employee benefits programs. This role is critical in ensuring our benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our company’s values and goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of benefits administration, compliance regulations, and a passion for enhancing the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, etc.)
Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing plans, surveys, and other sources of information
Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and issues
Partner with brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage open enrollment, renewals, and plan changes
Develop and deliver employee communications and training related to benefits
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management and audits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR management
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation is a plus
