Benefits Specialist -Leave of Absence (LOA)

Job Type: Full-Time

Department: Human Resources

Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Benefits Specialist to support our Leave of Absence (LOA) and Accommodations programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a deep understanding of federal and state leave laws, and is passionate about supporting employees through critical life events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws.

  • Provide day-to-day support on LOA and accommodations processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Partner with Legal, HR, and Compliance teams on complex and sensitive leave cases.

  • Maintain accurate and timely data in the HRIS system.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the LOA experience and compliance.

  • Support special projects and initiatives related to employee well-being and workplace accommodations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in LOA administration or employee benefits.

  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other applicable federal/state regulations.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and case management tools.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $31.00 per hour
