Position Summary:
As a Bilingual Scheduler, you will be the first point of contact for patients—responsible for coordinating appointments, verifying information, and ensuring a smooth scheduling experience for both English- and Spanish-speaking patients. Your communication skills and attention to detail will directly impact patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency.
Key Details:
- Job Title: Bilingual Scheduler
- Location: On-site in Chicago, IL
- Pay: $18–$19 per hour
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Employment Type: Contract-to-hire through a third-party recruiter
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone and electronic systems
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish
- Coordinate with clinical staff to manage provider calendars
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information
- Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in scheduling, medical office, or call center preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
