We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Call Center Representative to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing essential information and support. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from union members regarding membership inquiries, benefits questions, and general information.
- Provide accurate and timely information to callers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Resolve member issues and concerns efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of all calls and interactions.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of previous call Center experience
- Medical industry experience a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on providing exceptional member support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software preferred.
Job Details:

- Monday- Friday, onsite
- Pay $18-$21 an hour depending on experience
