A highly respected corporate law firm in Chicago is seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Paralegal to join their dynamic team. If you have 3+ years of M&A experience and thrive in fast-paced environments, this is an incredible opportunity to advance your career.

📍 Location: Downtown Chicago (onsite for 90 days, then hybrid 3/2)

💰 Salary: $70K-$95K (higher for candidates with 6+ years of BOTH M&A and CRE experience)

🔹 No billable hour requirement

What You’ll Do:

• Assist attorneys with M&A transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and post-closing activities

• Handle corporate filings, entity formations, and governance matters

• Manage UCC filings, corporate records, and compliance documentation

• Collaborate with clients and attorneys to facilitate seamless deal execution

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of M&A experience in a law firm or corporate setting (in-house candidates considered with prior law firm experience)

• Strong understanding of corporate law, transactions, and governance

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset must hit the ground running!

• Experience with Carta and CTA filings is a plus
