A highly respected corporate law firm in Chicago is seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Paralegal to join their dynamic team. If you have 3+ years of M&A experience and thrive in fast-paced environments, this is an incredible opportunity to advance your career.
📍 Location: Downtown Chicago (onsite for 90 days, then hybrid 3/2)
💰 Salary: $70K-$95K (higher for candidates with 6+ years of BOTH M&A and CRE experience)
🔹 No billable hour requirement
What You’ll Do:
Assist attorneys with M&A transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and post-closing activities
Handle corporate filings, entity formations, and governance matters
Manage UCC filings, corporate records, and compliance documentation
Collaborate with clients and attorneys to facilitate seamless deal execution
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of M&A experience in a law firm or corporate setting (in-house candidates considered with prior law firm experience)
Strong understanding of corporate law, transactions, and governance
Proactive, problem-solving mindset must hit the ground running!
Experience with Carta and CTA filings is a plus
