LHH is working w/ a Chicago-based Insurance company who is looking to hire multiple Containerization/DevOps Security Engineer with at least 8 years of IT Security experience to be considered. This will be a 6+ month project w/ a strong possibility of extension and will be 100% remote.
Candidates MUST be willing to work as a W2 employee of LHH to be consider. We can not hire c2c consultants for this position. Candidates also MUST sit in the continental United States to be considered (any time zone is fine).
Objective: Support our client’s cloud security goals and enable enterprise agility by implementing and securing container technologies on Google Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop security solutions for multi-cloud environments.
Protect clients data across clouds and platforms.
Work with cross-functional teams to employ automation and cybersecurity best practices.
Coordinate with architecture, developers, DevOps, and vendors to create secure cloud-hosted solutions.
Partner with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
Top Skills Required:
Experience with containers, orchestration solutions, and cloud-managed Kubernetes services (Google Kubernetes Engine).
Expertise in designing, implementing, and operating container security solutions.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline solutions using GitHub Actions/Workflows.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of IaaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, secure configuration guidelines, and NIST guidelines for container security.
Experience with Prisma Cloud, Wiz, and Splunk (highly desirable).
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of eight years of technical experience in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols.
