Position: Financial Strategy Analyst
We’re looking for a high-performing Financial Strategy Analyst to lead the development and management of complex financial models and monthly reporting that support strategic initiatives across the organization. This role blends FP&A, supplier management, and strategic analysis, and requires strong business acumen, initiative, and executive presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage complex financial models, forecasts, and reporting packages.
Partner with Finance, Sourcing, Business Leaders, and external suppliers to drive strategic decision-making.
Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
Lead scenario/sensitivity analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
Identify risks and recommend process improvements; assist with implementation.
Present key findings and recommendations to all levels of management.
Support sourcing strategies by developing models and leading financial discussions.
Oversee IT capital and core budget forecasting.
Maintain and improve automated reporting tools.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, corporate integrity, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics) + 5 years of corporate finance or IT financial operations experience
OR 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and reporting expertise.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and financial systems (e.g. PeopleSoft, Ariba, ITAM).
Experience with internal tools like eBudget, Blue View, or comparable platforms.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Preferred:
Experience with IT financials, sourcing, or healthcare claims modeling.
Familiarity with IT asset tracking, licensing, and cost structures.
Understanding of contract structures and supplier governance.
Prior experience in M&A due diligence and coaching/mentoring others.
This role is ideal for someone who:
Thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
Can influence decisions with data and strong business insight.
Enjoys balancing strategic work with hands-on analysis.
Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
