A leading law firm seeks a detail-oriented Mid-Level Litigation Paralegal for its Chicago office. This role supports attorneys in Intellectual Property Litigation, managing cases from inception to trial. Candidates must have at least five years of litigation experience, with IP litigation experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage litigation case files, deadlines, and court filings.

  • Conduct legal research using PACER, Westlaw, and other platforms.

  • Draft, proofread, and cite-check legal documents.

  • Assist with discovery processes and trial preparation.

  • Maintain billable time records.

  • Billable Hours: 1,600 per year.

  • Trials: 2-3 per year; travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in litigation support, IP litigation preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.

  • Skills: Federal court experience, ITC Section 337 hearings, IPR matters, PACER proficiency, and case management software expertise.

Work Environment & Compensation:

  • Salary: $76,000 - $99,000 per year.

  • Bonus: $10,000 - $20,000 annually.
