LHH is working with a Chicago-based Financial Services company who is looking to hire an IT Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team for a 6+ month project and the role will be 100% remote.
Candidates MUST be able to work as a W2 employee of LHH to be considered.
The role will mainly focus on Support of testing within the Disaster Recovery Team, including application testing full DC testing, plan walkthroughs and call tree tests Disaster recovery plan review and approvals Runbook creation in support of the full data center testing and recovery Use of the following tools Microsoft, ServiceNow, Fusion Risk Management and Everbridge This position will be working remote
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans.
Oversees enterprise disaster recovery exercises and validation efforts.
Documents disaster recovery exercises and reports results to senior management.
Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems.
Manages deliverables and Service Level Agreements for 3rd party vendors and MSPs.
Participates in assessments of potential disruptions in technology services.
Manages program status communications to internal and external stakeholders.
Develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster recovery procedures
Required Skills:
Experience in managing IT disaster recovery exercises in a multi-site, enterprise environment.
Knowledge of security principles and practices.
Advanced knowledge of storage area networks, enterprise backup systems, and networking concepts.
Familiarity with industry best practices for IT Disaster Recovery planning and ISO Standards.
Advanced project management skills.
Strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication with all levels and business partners
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Pay Details: $45.00 to $65.00 per hour
