LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support our respected client's legal team in Chicago, Illinois. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience in legal support, with a strong background in litigation and familiarity with Illinois court procedures.
What You'll Do:
- Track critical litigation deadlines, including court appearances, discovery timelines, and filing dates to ensure timely compliance.
- Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses in accordance with Illinois court rules.
- Coordinate depositions for expert and lay witnesses, managing logistics such as scheduling and location arrangements.
- Accurately track attorney billable hours and ensure timely and precise time entry for client billing.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients by providing updates on case progress and coordinating meetings or document requests.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned Litigation Legal Assistant with 3+ years of experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, billing software, and online document management systems.
- Available to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
- Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer:
$70,000 - $85,000 / year
Benefits including insurance, 401K and Paid Time Off
Pay Details: $69,999.00 to $85,000.00 per year
