Medical Billing

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Hospital/Transplant Biller, for a full-time, Contract to Hire position in Chicago, IL. This is a great opportunity with an organization who is seeking an experienced candidate to start immediately! The anticipated hourly pay rate range for this position is between $21 and $26. Responsibilities:

• Proficient in handling a diverse range of complex accounts, including those with intricate billing structures and multiple service components.
• Adept at analyzing and dissecting intricate financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Skilled in evaluating claims to identify opportunities for efficient splitting, optimizing reimbursement, and minimizing denials.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue recovery through the strategic splitting of claims while maintaining compliance.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of billing fundamentals, including CPT and ICD coding, healthcare regulations, and payer requirements.
• Able to navigate complex billing scenarios to ensure accurate and timely submissions, reducing payment delays and denials.
• Specialized experience in managing transplant event visits, including associated documentation and billing requirements.
• Proven success in the revenue recovery unit, actively identifying and resolving revenue leakage issues to optimize financial outcomes for healthcare organizations.

Experience/Requirements:

• Epic experience
• 3+ years of Hospital/Specialty Medical billing experience

Hours:

• 100% ONSITE
• M-F
• 8:30-5 or 8-4
