Position Summary:
As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare clients. Your role will involve handling inquiries, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for every caller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound calls and patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using electronic health systems.
- Verify insurance coverage and explain billing and benefits information.
- Resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a medical office, call center, or healthcare customer service role.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., EPIC) and insurance processes preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
