Are you an experienced Paralegal with a passion for medical malpractice litigation? LHH is partnering with a respected Chicago law firm known for its commitment to excellence and client advocacy. We’re seeking a proactive Litigation Paralegal to support complex and high-impact medical malpractice cases.

This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity offering a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, and the chance to work alongside some of the most experienced attorneys in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys in managing all phases of medical malpractice litigation

  • Organize, analyze, and maintain medical records and case files (both electronic and physical)

  • Coordinate schedules, court deadlines, and maintain litigation calendars

  • Conduct legal and factual research, including cite-checking and medical terminology review

  • Prepare and draft discovery responses, pleadings, and other court documents

  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness files, and courtroom logistics

  • Summarize depositions, records, and testimony to assist case strategy

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in medical malpractice or personal injury law

  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and litigation support tools (e.g., Relativity, TrialDirector, or CaseMap)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
