LHH is looking to hire a Sr. IT Project Manager to join our team for a 6+ month project (very strong possibility of long-term extension into 2026). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of IT Project Management (10+ years IT exp total) w/ experience in IT Security or Infrastructure.

This will be a hybrid position (2 days/week onsite) and candidates MUST be local to the Chicagoland area to be considered.

Enterprise PM experience - managing multi-million dollar+ projects involving cross-functional teams, MSP's and multiple vendors.

What You’ll Do

• Lead high-impact projects from planning to execution, resolving risks and issues swiftly.

• Partner with senior executives to align project goals with business strategy.

• Mentor teams on PM best practices and foster a culture of excellence.

• Drive financial accountability—budgeting, forecasting, and managing capital vs. expense activities.

• Champion consistency in PM processes and build a strong community of practice.

What You Bring

• Proven leadership in enterprise project management.

• Experience managing multiple projects in a matrixed environment.

• Bonus: Familiarity with Security Tools, IAM, and Enterprise Change Management.

• Effective communicator and relationship builder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).

• 10–12 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in leadership.

• PM certifications preferred.
