Tax Paralegal - Trusts & Estates
Location: Chicago (Hybrid)
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 (DoE)
Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a skilled Tax Specialist/Tax Paralegal to join their dynamic and expanding Trusts & Estates Practice Group in their Chicago office. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility of working from home while remaining part of a collaborative team. This is a full-time role with 1200 billable hours annually, and the potential for overtime during busy tax seasons.
Responsibilities:
Prepare complex estate and gift tax returns
Assist with probate estate and trust administration
Manage client relationships and provide exceptional service
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate
Minimum of 5 years experience
CPAs or those with a Master’s in Tax are also encouraged to apply
