Tax Paralegal - Trusts & Estates

Location: Chicago (Hybrid)

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 (DoE)

Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a skilled Tax Specialist/Tax Paralegal to join their dynamic and expanding Trusts & Estates Practice Group in their Chicago office. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility of working from home while remaining part of a collaborative team. This is a full-time role with 1200 billable hours annually, and the potential for overtime during busy tax seasons.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex estate and gift tax returns

  • Assist with probate estate and trust administration

  • Manage client relationships and provide exceptional service

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate

  • Minimum of 5 years experience

  • CPAs or those with a Master’s in Tax are also encouraged to apply
