Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their finance team. This role will be responsible for processing invoices, conducting 3-way matching, managing purchase order and non-purchase order invoices, and ensuring accurate sales tax calculations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

  • Conduct 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.

  • Process both purchase order (P.O.) and non-purchase order (Non-P.O.) invoices.

  • Verify sales tax calculations and ensure compliance with state and local regulations.

  • Prepare accounts payable aging reports and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Participate in month-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

  • Research and resolve vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assist in maintaining vendor files and ensuring documentation is up-to-date.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Knowledge of 3-way matching processes and purchase order procedures.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.



Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
