Accounts Receivable Clerk

LHH Is looking for an accounts receivable clerk for a client in the Greater Cincinnati area. Ideal candidates will have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, experience working an in-box in an accounting environment or similar, and excellent communication skills. This position is Temp to Hire and will pay between $18 and $22/hr.

Job Duties:
  • Process and manage billing for clients and projects.
  • Monitor and respond to emails in the accounts receivable inbox.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate invoice and payment tracking.
  • Maintain and update customer files with relevant information and documentation.
  • Handle lien waivers and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Work closely with field representatives to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounts receivable policies and procedures.
  • Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

Requirements:
  • Must have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Prior experience managing an in-box for an accounting department.
  • At least 1-2 years of accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a heavy workload.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
