Assistant Regional Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Assistant Regional Controller for a great client in Cincinnati. Ideal candidates will have experience managing the close process over multiple entities and be comfortable working independently. This position is hybrid after training and will pay between $90K and $115K annually. This is a direct hire, permanent placement opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide status of financial performance of the company’s operations through collection, reporting and interpretation of key financial data.

• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget process and assist the General Manager in the preparation of zero-base budgets and forecasts.

• Prepare or assist in the creation of financial projections used to make strategic and tactical decisions designed to improve financial results.

• Prepares and coordinates monthly closing and other reporting requirements.

• Involved in Pricing for new business targets as well as defensive bids.

• Monitors and drives Action plan to support locations Financial and Operational performance.

• Ensure adherence to state and local tax regulations.

• Ensures adherence and compliance with company policy and procedure while also providing counsel to the General Manager and on-site management team.

• Report directly to Finance but has dotted line responsibility to Regional Vice President of Operations. Works closely with Regional Directors team.

• Candidate must develop central understanding of the profitability drivers of the Organization.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in accounting

• Multi-entity / multi-state experience managing month end process, forecasting, budgeting, etc.

• CPA is preferred but no required.

• Prior public accounting experience is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
