LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Human Resource Generalist that will support a client’s HR department in various tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, and HR record-keeping. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and fostering a positive work environment within the healthcare organization. This position is direct hire and will pay between $55K and $75K depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Address employee grievances and mediate workplace conflicts.
- Promote a positive work environment and culture.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare and submit HR reports as required.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Update HR policies and procedures to reflect changes in legislation.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare-specific regulations and compliance
