Medical Billing Specialist

LHH is seeking an experienced Medical Billing specialist to join one the largest unified health systems in the Cincinnati area. In this role you will be responsible for full cycle billing that ensures proper account documentation in the facility’s billing system.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Assisting the lead medical biller and fellow billing staff in accurate claim submission
  • Claim follow up from different payers
  • Review, investigate and resolve all credit balances in a timely manner
  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and third part questions
  • Address billing concerns in a timely and professional manner

    • Your Profile:

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Billing and Payer knowledge for hospital and or physician billing
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing principles, regulations, and requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
  • Strong working knowledge or ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT terminology
  • 2+ years of experience running insurance policies and appeals.
  • EPIC knowledge is preferred

    Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 PER HOUR
