LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a healthcare client in Blue Ash seeking a Medical Biller to work specifically on Medicaid claims starting in June!
Job Title: Medical Biller
Location: Blue Ash, OH
Hours: Full time, M-F
Responsibilities:
Insurance Communication: Engage with insurance companies to ascertain reasons for unpaid claims, facilitating resolution and optimizing reimbursement.
Customer Support: Field inbound calls, addressing inquiries and resolving billing concerns promptly and courteously.
Medicaid Claim Handling: Manage denied Medicaid claims, initiating 1st Level appeals by uploading necessary documentation to CGS or MITS portal.
Claims Rectification: Identify and rectify errors on denied claims, promptly resubmitting them to ensure timely payment and minimize revenue loss.
Follow-up on Unpaid Claims: Conduct thorough follow-up procedures on outstanding claims, utilizing effective communication and negotiation skills to facilitate resolution and payment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a medical billing or claims follow-up position, demonstrating proficiency in claims management and resolution.
Knowledge of Medical Billing Practices: Understanding of medical billing procedures, including coding, billing regulations, and reimbursement processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling billing documentation and claims data.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to identify issues with claims, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to resolve them.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to overall departmental success.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
