Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 per hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in procurement, especially those who have worked in construction or engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage existing supplier relationships to obtain quotations, bids, and project support.
Manage the Request for Bid (RFB) process, including scope of work development, bid meetings, and site visits.
Prepare and present bid analyses for various scopes of work.
Attend regular project update meetings to ensure alignment with procurement goals.
Issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers and vendors.
Maintain and update procurement tracking spreadsheets for ongoing projects.
Verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with project milestones, rates, and terms.
Assist the Procurement Manager in updating and revising procurement practices and procedural documentation.
Support the development of requisition-to-purchase order process flows for internal ordering systems.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of procurement experience required.
Experience in construction or engineering industries is a strong plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.
