Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager with a strong background in third-party logistics (3PL) for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, experience leading a team, and a deep understanding of the 3PL industry. This role is 100% in-person.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the 3PL industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Client Management:
Oversee the management of existing client accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop tailored solutions to meet clients' logistics and supply chain needs.
Handle complex negotiations and close high-value deals.
Sales Operations:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Team Development:
Recruit, train, and develop sales team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the sales team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the 3PL industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-performing sales team.
Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and transportation processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work 100% in-person in Cincinnati, OH.
