• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and categorized.
• Process invoices and ensure timely payment of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Track and report on project costs and budgets.
• Prepare job cost reports and analyze variances.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and budget adherence.
• Process payroll for field representatives and office staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and handle payroll-related inquiries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain documentation and support for financial transactions and reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required with 5+ year of direct accounting and industry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong knowledge of job costing, project accounting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
