• Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Maintain and reconcile cost accounting systems.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage standard costing processes.
• Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accurate valuation.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor and report on inventory levels and turnover rates.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements specific to manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for manufacturing activities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to manufacturing.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
• Implement and monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable specific to manufacturing.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Manage vendor and customer relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 4-6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
