Title Clerk

LHH RS is looking for a Title Clerk for a client in the Montgomery Ohio area. The Title Clerk is responsible for processing and managing vehicle titles and related documentation to ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $18 and $22/hr.

Job Duties:
  • Process vehicle titles and registrations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and correct.
  • Communicate with customers, dealerships, and state agencies to resolve title issues.
  • Maintain and update title records and files.
  • Prepare and submit title applications to the appropriate state agencies.
  • Assist with auditing title paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on state regulations and changes in title processing requirements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in title processing or a related administrative role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software and title processing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of state regulations and requirements for vehicle titles and registrations.
