Job Title: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist
Location: City of Industry, CA
Pay Rate: $25 - $27 per hour (Contract to Hire)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to join our team in City of Industry, CA. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
Manage accounts receivable, including posting payments, invoicing customers, and reconciling discrepancies.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
Assist with month-end closing, including journal entries and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or other ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with vendors and customers professionally.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Sorting).
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
