LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Cash Application Specialist for a client of ours in the greater Cleveland, OH area. This is a short term, 90-day contract position that is 100% onsite. Pay will vary depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

· Process daily cash receipts and update customer accounts accordingly.

· Identify and escalate issues related to payment discrepancies.

· Collaborate with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve customer payment issues.

· Utilize reports and online data to research payment discrepancies.

· Resolve unapplied payment issues efficiently.

· Handle inbound customer queries regarding cash application via phone or email.

· Make outbound calls to address cash application issues and customer account inquiries.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Preferably skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.

· Familiarity with financial applications in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.

· Demonstrates customer-centric behavior, fostering positive relationships and understanding customer needs.

· Handles challenging situations tactfully and professionally.
