We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Coordinator Specialist to join our client’s finance team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in high-volume cash posting environments. The position will be based onsite at the client’s office located on the southeast side of Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities
Accurately apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to customer accounts in a timely manner
Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments, short pays, and overpayments
Reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure alignment with bank deposits and customer remittances
Collaborate with internal departments (AR, billing, customer service) to resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
