LHH Has partnered with a real estate financial services company to identify a Loan Processor with a strong background in real estate to join our lending operations team. This role is responsible for processing home equity loan applications from submission through closing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process home equity loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Order and review property appraisals, title reports, credit reports, and other third-party documentation.
Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, title companies, and internal stakeholders to gather and verify information.
Ensure loans meet underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements, including RESPA, TRID, and other applicable laws.
Maintain accurate and timely updates in the loan origination system.
Coordinate loan closings and ensure all conditions are met prior to funding.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in home equity or mortgage loan processing.
Strong understanding of real estate documentation and processes.
Familiarity with loan origination systems and document management tools.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
