Permanent Tax Professional in a Medium Public Accounting Firm in Columbia, MD

Pay is $75k - $95k or more based on Experience; Hybrid Flexibility is Possible

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• You will review the work of staff accountants who prepare the monthly compilations.

• You will analyze these financial statements, and advise and consult with your clients.

• You will prepare and review business and personal tax returns and help our clients with ongoing tax planning.

• You will handle installations of new clients and new client back work.

• As the primary contact person for a section of clients, you will provide exceptional customer service to clients in long-term business relationships.

• We need your help to service our clients in an advisory capacity. This will include, but is not limited to, business and financial advice, and computer & software support.

QUALIFICATIONS

• • Minimum of 3-6 years’ experience in the accounting profession.
  

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  
  
  • EA or CPA candidate is great, but certifications can be earned while you work here too.
  
  
  • Prior experience with preparing monthly compilations for businesses.
  
  
  • Prior experience with preparing business and personal tax returns.
  
  
  • General knowledge of how payroll taxes and sales taxes work.
